Accessibility
Last updated:
Southern Delta Charters wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our Goal
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site was checked in October 2026 with automated testing and by keyboard. It has not been independently audited or tested by people who use assistive technology.
What We Have Done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard. A “Skip to content” link comes first, and links, buttons and form fields show an outline when they have focus.
- Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and breadcrumbs so they can be navigated by structure.
- The photo viewer in the gallery works with the arrow keys and closes with Escape.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site’s animations are turned off.
- Phone numbers and email addresses are links, so they can be used directly from assistive technology.
- Pages adapt to small screens and to browser zoom.
Known Limitations
- The embedded Google Map in the footer comes from Google and may not be fully accessible. Our address is always written out beside it.
- Some older photos have limited detail because of their original resolution.
- The logo is a picture of the business name and tagline. Both are also written out as text on every page.
- Wide tables scroll sideways on small screens.
