Disclaimer
Last updated:
Everything on this website is published in good faith and for general information. This page sets out where that information stops being a promise.
General Information
The content here is provided for general informational purposes. While we work to keep it current and accurate, we make no warranty of any kind about its completeness, accuracy, reliability or suitability for your situation. Anything you do based on this website is at your own risk.
Fishing and Catches
Photos and descriptions show past trips. Fishing depends on weather, water and the fish, and no trip comes with a promise of what, or how much, will be caught.
Rates, Dates and Trip Details
This website does not list rates. Rates, open dates, deposit terms and the details of any trip are confirmed with you directly, by phone or text, and may change. A date is not booked until we have confirmed it with you.
Weather and Safety
Trips cancelled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled. Weather figures on this website are long-term averages, not a forecast.
Licenses, Limits and Regulations
Fishing license requirements, size limits and bag limits are set by the State of Louisiana and change. What this website says about them is a general guide and may be out of date. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is the authoritative source, and each angler is responsible for holding the right license.
Fish Facts
Information about redfish, speckled trout and flounder comes from the published sources listed on our Credits page. It is general information, not scientific or legal advice.
Travel, Lodging and the Marina
Drive times depend on traffic. Lodging, hours, restaurant and services at Venice Marina are the marina’s own and can change without notice. Confirm them with the marina before you travel.
